Do not operate the heater with an additional
clock timer or an additional control system.
When disposing of the appliance, heed the
respective statutory regulations. Information
on the disposal of electrical and electronic
appliances in the European Union: Within the
European Union, disposal of electrically ope-
rated appliances is governed by national regu-
lations that are based on the EU Directive
2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE). The appliance may no lon-
ger be disposed of with the municipal or hou-
sehold waste. The appliance will be accepted
free of charge at municipal collection points or
recycling centres. The product packaging is
made up of recyclable materials. Dispose of
them in an environmentally responsible man-
ner and take them for recycling.

• Before you start, set the heater in the aquarium
water for 20-30 minutes without plugging it.
• Check device for damage • Remove transit pro-

If, after a day or two in operation the setting scale does
not correspond to the water temperature, follow the
following procedure to recalibrate the heater:
• Switch off the heater and unplug it from the mains
supply • Measure the water temperature with an ac-
curate thermometer • Turn indicator arrow (red) b to
point to the measured temperature • Set the desired
tank temperature with the temperature selector ring
(blue) a . • Insert the power plug.
