e. Wing Assembly
Put the wing straight onto the fuselage and attach it with 4 rubber bands.
Attach the first two rubber bands diagonally and the other two parallel to the
wing.
f. Correct Wing Position
Check whether the wing is positioned correctly. The orange triangles should
exactly point towards the seam of the fuselage.
g. Remote Control Battery Replacement
The remote control requires eight AA-batteries (not included), as an alternative you can also use battery packs.
Open the battery compartment of the remote control. Insert the batteries ; mind the polarity! Switch on the remote
control, the instrument indicates the voltage. If the indicator is in the red zone, stop flying immediately and replace
the batteries or recharge the battery pack.
h. Recharging the battery pack
The TRCP1 comes with a 12V- fast charger. Connect the battery pack to the charger and plug it into the cigarette
lighter. The battery pack is being recharged as long as the LED flashes. When the LED stops flashing, the charging
process is completed.
Disconnect the charger from 12V-power system after each charging process.
WARNING!
Let the battery pack cool down fully before recharging it again!!!
Let the battery pack cool down for a while before fitting it into the plane!!!
i. Inserting the Battery Pack
Open the cockpit window, connect the battery pack and insert it into the plane.
j. Remote Control
Switch on the remote control and check if the rudders work
correctly.
The right control stick moves the rudder. When you move the
control stick to the right, the rudder should also move to the right.
When you move the control stick to the left, the rudder will also
move to the left.
The left control stick moves the elevator. By pulling the control
stick, the elevator will move upwards. If you push the control stick
forward, the elevator will move downwards.
Check whether all trims on the remote control are in centre
position. Also check the alignment of the rudders: they should be
perfectly centred. Should this not be the case, correct the
deviation by repositioning the rudder rod.
