minor cause:
Dust coming out when vacuum cleaning:
• Is the filter system fixed correctly and without failures?
• Did you use an original THOMAS filter?
When the suction power gradually subsides:
• Are the filter pores clogged by fine dust?
• Are the valve, the extension tube or the suction hose clogged by dirt? (Stretch the suction
hose with the device being ON, the stretching might loosen blocked dirt).
When water comes out of the exhaust ports of the device during vacuum cleaning:
• Is the float valve (pic. P) during vacuum cleaning blocked by liquids and cannot react ?
• Had an original THOMAS detergent concentrate been used for wash cleaning?
• Are the AQUAFILTER and the water filter cartridge attached according to the manual?
In case the suction power suddenly subsides:
• Did the float valve stop the air suction? This might happen when the appliance is in an
extreme oblique position or had tilted over.
Switch off the device
– the float valve falls down
– the device is ready to be used again.
If the motor does not work:
• Pull the power plug before checking.
• Check whether the cable, plug and female plug are in good order.
• Never open the motor yourself!
If no cleaning liquid comes out:
• Has the pump been switched on ? (switch (7)) must be lighted?
• Clean the suction filter strainer at the suction hose (36).
• Is the suction hose hanging correctly inside the detergent tank?
• Is the spray valve clogged? If the spray valve happens to be clogged, put it for some time into
water. Then blow through strongly.
