Precautions for use
Before connecting the appliance, be sure to check the following points :
The power of your installation is sufficient for the correct operation of the

appliance.
Your installation complies with current standards (cable diameter, protec-
•
tion systems) and is in good condition.
That your wall socket is equipped with a grounding plug.
•
The appliance must be plugged into a 230-240 V - 50-60 HZ, 15-20 A socket.
(Do not use an extension cord or multiple sockets).
Make sure that the control lever is in the "0FF" position before connecting
•
the appliance.
Set the control knob to the desired cooking temperature by turning it clockwis
•
The blue light comes on and the appliance starts to heat up.
•
When using for the first time, it is advisable to run the appliance without
•
load for 10 minutes (a slight odour may be released for a few moments).
When the desired cooking temperature is reached, the blue light goes out
•
and the appliance stops heating. The appliance will start heating again when
the cooking temperature is lower than the previously set temperature.
You can set the temperature from 0 to 300°C for the entire cooking time.
•
Before each baking, preheat for about 10 minutes in the maximum position
•
(300°C).
DO NOT CUT FOOD WITH A KNIFE DIRECTLY ON THE COOKING PLATE.
