Connection to the socket
Unwind the cable to its full length. Connect the cable on the back of the unit
to the socket. The unit is now connected and ready for use.
Note: Connecting the unit to a different power source may damage the
unit.

EXPLANATION OF THE CONTROLS

Switching the unit on/off
When you connect the unit to the mains for the first time, the screen will
display "00:00:00". If you can receive a DAB+ signal at the current location,
the unit will automatically synchronise the local time. After about one
minute, the unit will switch to standby mode.
• To switch on the unit, press the standby button on the unit or the
remote control.
• Press the button again to return to standby mode.
• If you want to switch off the device completely, pull the power plug out
of the socket.
Note: If the device is not used for 15 minutes, it automatically switches to
standby mode.
To save energy, please switch the unit off completely when not in use.
Volume adjustment
• Turn the volume control on the unit or press the VOL+/- button on the
remote control to increase/decrease the volume.
• If you want to mute the unit, press the MUTE button on the remote
control. Press the MUTE button again or press the VOL+/- button on the
remote control/turn the volume control on the unit to resume playback
normally.
