- The Superior "Garden Kit" must be installed by a
qualified technician in accordance with applicable
regulations.
- Installation/maintenance personnel should wear
personal protective equipment (PPE), such as overalls,
safety helmets, boots and gloves, depending on the type
of work to be done and in accordance with current
regulations.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Make sure the power is disconnected before carrying
out any installation/maintenance operations.
- Do not modify any parts of the devices, or its
connected accessories, unless this manual calls for the
modifications. Any other changes will void the product
guarantee.
- The device should not be installed in rainy weather, in
order to avoid exposing the electronic circuits to water.
- The installer must provide a device (e.g.: a circuit
breaker) that ensures dual-pole isolation of the
equipment from the power supply, in accordance with
current regulations.
- Each electronic component must be suitably covered
and/or insulated.
- Do not install the device in places that are wet and/or
subject to flooding.
- Do not install the device in settings and/or
atmospheres that are explosive.
- Keep the product from being exposed sources of heat
and/or open flames.
- Do not remove the device's cover if it is connected to
the power supply and/or in operation.
- The device must be shut down immediately if any
anomalous and/or hazardous situation arises; the
malfunction should be reported at once to the qualified
technical personnel.
- Superior S.r.l. declines all responsibility for failure to
observe proper standards of installation and use, plus
the instructions in this manual, and/or for improper use
of the device.

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
a. Installing the receiver:
- Connect the device to either channel "Z1" or "Z2" or, if
two devices are being used, to both.
- Connect the live and neutral wires of the 220V power
supply to, respectively, the "POWER – L" and "POWER –
N" terminals of the receiver.
- The blue LED will flash once to confirm the
connection.
b. Learning codes:
- "Z1" Channel:
• Press the "SW1" button once to enter the learning
mode. The LED will confirm by going on and staying lit.
• Press the remote control button you wish to
memorize on the receiver and hold it down until blue LED
flashes 3 times, confirming that it has been learned.
NOTE: If the receiver does not detect any signal suitable
for memorisation within the 8 seconds of the "SW1"
button being pressed, the LED will turn off, confirming
expiration of the learning-mode period.
- "Z2" Channel:
• Push the "SW1" button twice to enter the learning
mode. LED confirms by going on and staying lit.
• Press and hold down the remote control button you
wish to memorize on the receiver until the receiver's
blue LED flashes 3 times, confirming memorisation.
NOTE: If the receiver does not detect any signal suitable
for memorisation within the 8 seconds of the "SW1"
button being pressed, the LED will turn off, confirming
expiration of the learning-mode period.
c. Removing a code:
• Press and hold "SW1" button for approximately 5
seconds and then release it. The LED stay lit, confirming
activation of the removal mode.
• Press and hold down the key of the remote control
memorised previously, but now to be cancelled, until the
LED on the receiver flashes 3 times, confirming the
cancellation.
N.B.: If the LED does not receive a signal that can be
eliminated within 8
seconds of the "SW1" button being pushed, it will go off,
confirming expiration of the window of time for
removal.
