Hot Spot Gas Burner
ENG
Filling in the gas
Please take only high-value butane gas.
Shake the refilling container to warm up the gas.
Put the flame controller (2) on position "-".
Insert the nozzle of the refilling container upright from the top into the valve of the burner (Picture A).
Please wait some time after the refilling process, so that the gas can stabilise itself.
Ignition
Put the flame controller (2) on position"+".
Push the saftey button (3) until it snaps in. (Picture B).
Push the start button (6). The flame will inflame immediately (Picture C). For safety reasons the start
button can only be pushed after the saftey button has snapped in.
Flame adjustment
- Adjust the flame during the operation by putting the flame control button (2) on position "-"
for a smaller flame, respectively on position "+" for a bigger flame. The flame should be between
10mm - 25mm. A bigger flame would mean a wastage of gas.
- In order to adjust width and temperature of the flame push the air supply controller (4) during the operation
in direction of the flame (= wide, cooler flame) or towards itself (= smaller, hotter flame)
- In higher altitudes (in the mountains) it is temporarily not possible for the burner to work on the highest level
(oxygen deficiency). In this case put the flame control button on a medium level between "+" and "-".
Switch-off
- In order to switch off the device just release the start button or unlock the locking key.
Permanent function
Attention:
When using the permanent function the burner does not switch off autonomously.
- In order to activate the permanent function pull back the locking key (5) while pushing the start button (6).
- Now you can relase the start button; the flame burns until you pull back the locking key in direction
of the flame.
Important warning:
1. Read the whole instruction manual thoroughly prior to the first usage.
2. Keep the device away from children.
3. Only use standard butane gas as fuel.
4. Butane gas is highly inflammable; be careful when using it.
5. Usage only in well ventilated areas.
6. Do not touch the ventilation hole with metal or other hard objects.
7. Avoid the inhalation of toxic vapours or gases. Use the exhaust air ventilator when working in closed areas.
8. Before laying down or packing the device, be sure that the flame is extinguished.
9. Let the top cool down after the usage before touching it and be sure that the device is set on "Off" before
storing it.
10. Keep away from face, body and inflammable materials when lighting and using the device.
11. Do not dip heated parts into the water but let them cool down regularly.
12. Protect from direct sunlight and temperatures greater than 40°C
13. Dísassembling and modifying of the device or adding parts or additives which are not produced by the
manufacturer of the product can cause danger and are strictly forbidden.
14. The flame extinguishes when the burner is held downwards permanently.
15. Never throw the device or the gas tank into fire .
16. Wear eye protection during the working process.
17. Only operate in clean working areas, away from inflammable and greasy metals.
18. When using the burner keep away your hands and eyes. As the flame is difficult to see it is important to
work cautiously.
19. Do not use damaged devices.
