Battery Replacement

Risk of damage to the equipment!

Before opening probe, clean and dry well!
•
Do NOT blow off with compressed air!
•
Replace empty battery immediately!
1. Laterally pull the snap ring off from the probe (1./Fig. 12).
2. Carefully slide the battery compartment sleeve down (2./Fig. 12).
The touch probe IRP25.50 ist protected against wrong polarity. Therefore there is no need to pay attention to the
polarity when inserting a new battery!
3. Take the used battery off the battery compartment and insert new battery (3./Fig. 12).
Risk of damage to the equipment!

When closing battery compartment, ensure the O-Ring is properly seated!
4. Carefully slide the battery compartment sleeve upwards (4./Fig. 12).
5. Position the snap ring at the probe laterally and slide it over the probe (5./Fig. 12).
After changing the battery, the time for starting the touch probe (reboot) is approx. 5 s.
