OPERATION
This module allows two electrically operated windows to be closed from a
distance if used with an alarm or remote controlled module. For security
reasons, the remote control system must be programmed with a window
output of the controlled type.
The operation must be carried out near the car and the windows must
be operated in the presence of the user who must act immediately to
block them in the case of danger.
The window is stopped when it reaches end of travel or through activation of
a timer with a 12 second setting.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Connections and recommendations applicable to all versions:
1) Before beginning to install, disconnect the negative wire from the battery
and only connect it again after installation has terminated.
2) Connect the RED wire to a positive source, making sure that it can supply
sufficient current.
3) Connect the BLACK wire to a grounding point.
4) Connect the BROWN wire to the window command output of the associated
remote control system. The input corresponding to this colour is preset for
NEGATIVE signals. If the module must be controlled with a positive signal,
use the input corresponding to position n° 7 of the window winding module
connector.
Remember to insulate the unused wires.
Choose one of the following layouts after having examined the electric
window winding system of the vehicle.
LAYOUT A
Layout to use for:
-
Systems where there is negative polarity on the motors when they are
not in use.
Cut out the wire with positive polarity during the winding phase.
LAYOUT B
Layout to use for:
- systems where there is negative polarity on one motor and positive polarity
on the other when the window winding motors are not in use.
