2. Inbetriebnahme
Stecknippel (s. Zubehör) mit 1/4" IG für Euroschnell-Kupplung dichtend unter Verwendung von Teflon/Hanf in den Lufteingang (s. Zeichnung)
einschrauben. Das Gewinde des Lufteingangs ist konisch, daher reichen 3-4 Gewindegänge beim Einschrauben aus.
Bei Nichtbeachtung kann das Gehäuse zerstört werden.
3. Kartuschenwechsel
Die Fettpresse kann sowohl mit Fettkartuschen als auch mit losem Fett befüllt werden. Bei Verwendung von Fettkartuschen muß die im
Kartuschenrohr befindliche Manschette mit der spitzen, konischen Seite zur Kartusche hin zeigen. Das Kartuschenrohr kann durch einfaches
Drehen nach links abgeschraubt und die gewünschte Kartusche danach eingelegt werden. Dabei ist zu achten, daß die Kartusche durch
herausziehen des Druckstabes am Kartuschenrohr eingeführt wird. Damit verhindert man, daß Luft im Roh eindringt. Sobald die Kartusche
eingelegt worden ist wird das in der Kartusche befindliche Fett automatisch mittels des Druckstabes in den Verdichtungsraum der Pistole
gedrückt.
Bei Verwendung vom losem Fett ist darauf zu achten, daß die in dem Kartuschenrohr befindliche Manschette mit der breiten Seite nach oben
und mit der spitzen, konischen Seite ins Kartuschenrohr hinein zeigt. Nun kann das lose Fett aus dem jeweiligen Aufbewahrungsbehälter in
das Kartuschenrohr hineingezogen werden, indem man den Druckstab bei im Fett eingetauchtem Kartuschenrohr nach hinten zieht. Durch
den entstehenden Unterdruck zieht sich das lose Fett von selbst in das Rohr.
4. Anwendung
Anwendung: Dieses Gerät ist zur Verarbeitung von losem sowie in Kartuschen befindlichem Fett bestimmt.
Funktion: Die Fettpresse wird durch Betätigung des Abzughebels in Betrieb gesetzt. Es kann sein, daß sich in dem Verdichtungsraum der
Pistole Luft befindet und deshalb kein Fett aus dem Mundstück herauskommt. In diesem Fall ist die Pistole zu entlüften. Hierzu muß der auf
der auf dem Pistolenkopf befindliche Knopf gedrückt werden (Modell 8130) bzw die Schraube abgeschraubt werden (Modell 8135). In
Einzelfällen ist dies mehrmals zu wiederholen, um die Pistole komplett zu entlüften. Danach kann das Mundstück auf den Schmiernippel der
Maschine, des Lagers usw. aufgesetzt und der Abzugshebel betätigt werden.
Achtung : Niemals die Pistole auf Menschen richten oder bei auf der Haut aufgesetztem Mundstück den Abzugshebel betätigen.
Gerät nur für den beschriebenen Anwendungsfall verwenden, jede andere Verwendung schließen wir ausdrücklich aus ! ! !
Für Verletzungen und Schäden die aus unsachgemäßer und aus zweckentfremdeter Anwendung bzw. aus Zuwiderhandlung gegen
die Sicherheitsvorschriften resultieren übernehmen wir keine Haftung oder Gewährleistung.
5. Reinigung und Wartung
Die Fettpresse ist nach jedem Einsatz und vor jeder längerer Arbeitsunterbrechung gut zu reinigen, damit die Pistole nicht verkleben und
verkrusten kann.
6. Sicherheitshinweise
- Arbeitshandschuhe und Sicherheitsbrille tragen.
- Pistole nie auf Menschen richten
- Auf Betriebsdruck achten, max. 15 bar.
- Druckluftwerkzeuge gehören nicht in Kinderhände.
- Vor Kartuschenwechsel Spiralschlauch (Luftversorgung) abkuppeln.
7. Störungen
Bevor Sie beim RODCRAFT-Kundendienst nachfragen, sollten Sie bei Störungen folgende Punkte beachten:
- Überprüfung der Kompressoranlage und der Luftzuleitung (Luftmenge l/min und Schlauchquerschnitt entsprechend den technischen Daten
des Gerätes)
- Betriebsluft auf Staub und Rostanteile sowie Kondensat überprüfen.
- Fettpresse gegebenenfalls entlüften

2. Setting to work
Screw into the Air Inlet an 1/4" Plug or 1/4" Hose Tail ( see Accessory ) for Couplings and Fittings. Please use always P.T.F.E. or Pneumatic
Sealant when fitting the Plug into the inlet. Screw the plug only 3 - 4 times as the inlet is conical ( NPT ).
Do not over tighten as this may damage the inlet or tool body.
3. Changing of the Cartridges
This grease gun is suitable for cartridges as well as for all normal kind of grease. If you want to use cartridges you have to adjust the rubber in
the grease pipe with the conical side to the top. The grease pipe can be opened by turning it to the left. After putting the rubber, included in the
pipe into the right position you can insert the required cartridge by pulling the push rod out of the grease pipe. This should occure simultanious
so that no air enters in to the pipe. Now the grease has to be pressed into the gun by releasing the spring at the end of the pipe.
If you like to use normal grease please change the position of the rubber , included in the pipe, so that the conical side shows into the
direction of the pipe. Now you can easily pull the required grease into the pipe by pulling the pin out of the pipe's end.
4. Application
You put the gun by pushing the trigger into operation. It may be that there is air in the high pressure sealing area of the gun. In that case
please release the air by pushing the knob on the head of the machine (model 8130) or unscrewing the srew (model 8135). For some
reasons you have to do this several times. now please put the mouthpiece at the end of the flex. hose onto the grease plug of the machine to
be greased.
Attention : Never point the tool in the direction of other people whilst it is in use. Never push the trigger if the mouthpiece is pressed
onto someone's skin.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
Please clean the item after every use very carefully, to insure a long and troublefree lifetime.
6. Safety rules
- Always wear eye protection and protective clothing / equipment to avoid injuries
- Pay attention, that the operation pressure never exceeds over 6,3 bar
- Keep tool away from your body while working
- Do not use pneumatic tools in explosive atmosphere
- For sufficient tool performance make sure that the correct hose - size and fittings are used when connecting the tool
- Disconnect the tool from the air - supply before changing accessories or when not in use
- Do not point the tool in the direction of other people whilst it is in use
7. Trouble shooting
You can minimise tool „ down time „ by trying your own trouble shooting before sending a not full functioning tool to our Customer Service
Headquarters or a distributor for expert attention.
- Check all compressor components and air delivery lines for leaks.
- Check airline whether there is dirt, water or rust in the lines
- Check whether the air motor is overoiled
- Check whether the compressor and the pressure is as required by the tool.
