Before the installation of the add-on module
The add-on module has an increased current consump-
tion and a shortened service life of the battery, when
the optical module interface is exposed to daylight.
Mount the add-on module as quickly as possible onto the
heat metering system after taking out of the packaging, or
store the add-on module protected from light.
Installation of the add-on module
Since the data transfer is implemented optically, it is to
be ensured that the windows of the transmission units
are clean and not damaged, both on the add-on module and
on the meter.
1. Removal of the interface cover on the meter
2. Mount add-on module
3. Add-on module with both delivered bolts to screw tight
