3. Charging USB chargeable devices using Patrol-2
• Plug the USB cable into one of the USB charging output ports on Patrol-2 and the
other end into the device.
• Press the power button once.
• The device will now automatically start charging.
• Detach the USB cable once charging is complete.
4. Jumpstarting a vehicle battery.
• Make sure that Patrol-2 is fully charged before starting the engine.
• Connect the jumper clamps into the 12V jump start port.
• Press the power button and ensure the blue LED light is illuminated.
• Connect the jump start cable to the drained battery of the vehicle.
• Connect red clamp to the positive "+" terminal and black clamp to the negative
"-"terminal.
• Press the button on the Jumper Cable Box Until the Blue LED turns on.
• Ensure the Green and Blue LED lights on the smart clamps are illuminated
•Now attempt to start the engine. If the engine doesn't start in the first attempt, wait
at least for 30 seconds before attempting to re-start the engine.
• Disconnect the jump start cable from Patrol-2 within 30 seconds after the engine has
successfully started.
5. Using the State of Charge (SOC) feature:
• Connect red clamp to the positive "+" terminal and black clamp to the negative
"-"terminal.
• Press the button on the smart clamps and view the LED.
