Operation
Charging the internal battery:
You must completely charge the internal batteries before
you can use the visolux DIGITAL HD for the first time inde-
pendently of the mains power supply!
To charge, insert the charging cable plug into the connection for
the mains adapter (e) on the visolux DIGITAL HD. Then connect
the mains adapter with the adapter appropriate for the oper-
ating location and plug the mains adapter into a power outlet.
Charging takes about 3 hours. The charging indicator LED (w)
will light up red during the charging process. When the charging
process is complete it will light up green. Disconnect the mains
adapter from the power socket and the visolux DIGITAL HD once
charging is completed.
You can use the visolux DIGITAL HD during the charging pro-
cess. Using the reader while charging will, however, prolong the
charging time.
Switching on/off
Press and hold the On/Off button (h) for one second to switch
the visolux DIGITAL HD on. The camera image will appear in live
image mode on the display (g). 3 icons appear on the upper
edge of the screen for approx. 2 seconds to indicate the battery
charge level, the current zoom factor and the display brightness:
The battery symbols have the following meanings:
Battery fully charged
50 % charge
Battery empty
Press and hold the On/Off button for (h) for one second to
switch the device off. The current zoom, screen mode and
brightness settings will be saved.
75% charge
25 % charge
