9 Important safety guidelines for this appliance
• Always check the appliance for any damage before using it. If the
cable, the plug or the appliance show any visible signs of damage,
then the appliance should not be used.
• Do not make any modifications or repairs to the appliance.
• Caution! The blade unit is very sharp!
• Plug the appliance only into a properly installed power socket.
• Never leave the blender unattended and choose a location
in which the appliance is safe from the reach of animals and
children.
• Children should not play with the appliance.
• Children above 8 years of age and persons with restricted phys-
ical, sensory and mental abilities may use the appliance only if
they are instructed or supervised by a person who is responsible
for their safety.
• Keep the blender out of the reach of children under 8 years of
age.
• Keep it on an appropriate surface so that it does not tip over.
• Do not keep the blender next to heat sources (e.g. electric stove).
• Unplug the power plug when the appliance is not in use or during
cleaning.
• Do not move the appliance when it is being operated.
• Ensure that the power cable does not come into contact with any
hot surfaces.
• If you want to pull out the plug from the socket, pull by holding
the plug and not the cable.
• Never touch the plug with wet hands.
• Protect the appliance from fire.
• Do not immerse the cable, the plug or the entire appliance in
water or any other liquids.
• The appliance should not be used by children. Keep the appliance
and the power plug out of the reach of children.
• Switch off the appliance and pull the power plug when you want
to replace any accessories or to move the appliance to another
location.
