cable for charger cradle with hands-free facility (9) on telephone console (15).
Firmly hold base plate for connection cable for charger cradle with hands-free facility (10), remove connection cable
for charger cradle with hands-free facility (9) again and mark holes (51) with water-soluble pen.
Remove base plate for connection cable for charger cradle with hands-free facility (10) and drill holes (51)
with 3.0 mm dia. twist drill.
Take care when drilling to ensure the telephone console (15) is not drilled through.
After drilling, remove metal chips from under leather cover of telephone console (15) so that the base plate
for connection cable for charger cradle with hands-free facility (10) can fit snugly and completely on telephone
console (15).
Place base plate for connection cable for charger cradle with hands-free facility (10) on telephone console (15) and
firmly tighten with two 4x15 recessed cross countersunk head self-tapping screws (23).
Now lock in connection cable for charger cradle with hands-free facility (9) on base plate for connection cable for
charger cradle with hands-free facility (10) and insert mobile phone.
If necessary, cut out centre console a little in area of connection cable for charger cradle with hands-free facility (9)
to ensure no damage occurs.
Continue with Chapter 2.5 if the line compensator is to be additionally installed in the vehicle.
Concluding jobs
Reconnect battery
Print out fault code memory.
Carry out function check and test hands-free facility.
Reassemble vehicle in reverse order of removal.
