Observe the Instructions for Use
for the filter and the mask.
Use Filterbox 40/91 with original
Dräger filters only.
Intended Use
Filterbox 40/91 for connecting
respiratory filters of type 671 –
674 to a mask with standard
thread connection according to
DIN EN 148 Part 1. With a
respiratory filter inserted,
Filterbox 40/91 corresponds to
a filter with standard thread
connection.
Use with gas filter 671,
combined filter 672, 673 or
particle filter 674
• Remove cap by means of grip
burls.
• Check sealing ring in the
adapter. It must fit snugly in the
groove and must not be
distorted or cracked,
otherwise it must be replaced.
• Screw gas, combined or
particle filter into the adapter.
• Insert coarse dust filter into the
cap, if necessary.
• Attach cap, it must audibly snap
into place twice.
• Screw adapter into the
connector of the mask.
• Don mask and check for leaks,
refer to the Instructions for Use
of the mask.
