水や油が浸入する恐れがあります。 （本スイッチの保護構造ＩＰ６７とは、一定時
間水中に放置した後の水の浸入を確認するものです）
・ スイッチ本体については、埃や水などの浸入から保護されていますが、ヘッド部は微
細な異物や水から保護されていませんので、 異物や水が入らないようにしてください。
早期摩耗、破損などの原因になります。
・ 配線作業時は通電しないでください。感電の恐れがあります。
・ 配線作業後は必ずカバーを取付けてご使用ください。また、カバーを開けた状態で
通電しないでください。感電の恐れがあります。
・ 回路の短絡によるスイッチの破損を防ぐため、定格電流の１．５～２倍の遮断電流値
のヒューズをスイッチと直列に接続してください｡
ＥＮ認定定格でご使用の場合は、ＩＥＣ６０２６９適合の１０Ａヒューズ 形ｇＩあ
るいは形ｇＧをご使用ください｡
・ 一般負荷(ＡＣ２５０Ｖ、３Ａ)の開閉は、２回路以上同時に行わないでください。
絶縁機能が低下する恐れがあります。
・ スイッチの耐久性は開閉条件により大きく異なります。使用にあたっては必ず実使
用条件にて実機確認を行い、性能上問題のない開閉回数内にてご使用ください。
・ 保守・修理の際には設備使用者ご自身での保守・修理は行わず、設備（機械）メー
カへご連絡（相談）ください。
・ 長期間押込み状態での使用は部品劣化を早め、復帰不良になる場合があります。
事前に確認いただき、定期的な点検、交換を実施ください。

付けてください｡

・ 本体の取付けにはＭ４ねじを用い、座金を使って適正締付トルクで取付けてく
ださい｡
・ 安全のために、容易に取外しできないようなねじ、あるいはそれと同等の手段
によって取付けてください。

・ レバーの取付ねじで、レバーの位置は３６０ﾟ(７．５ﾟごと)任意の位置にセット
することができます。レバーと回転軸にはそれぞれかみ合う溝を設け、レバーと
回転軸のすべりを防止しています。
なお、可変ローラレバータイプの長さを変える場合も、同様にねじをゆるめるこ
とで変更できます。
レバーの取付を反対(表・裏)にする場合は、レバー正面のねじを取外した後で
行ってください。この時、水平１８０ﾟの範囲で動作が終了するように設定して
ください。

・ ヘッドの４隅のねじを取外すことで、ヘッドの向きは４方向に変更できます｡

・ 絶縁チューブ、Ｍ３．５用の圧着端子を介して端子に接続する場合は、図のよ
うに圧着端子を配置し、ケース、カバーに乗り上げることのないように配線し
てください｡
適正リード線サイズはＡＷＧ２０～１８（０．５～０．７５㎜
また、リード線は図の長さにしたがって加工してください。リード線の余り
がカバーに接触してカバー浮きなどの原因となります。

〈コネクタタイプ〉
・適用ソケットは、形ＸＳ２Ｆ（オムロン製）です。
・ソケットのピン№とリード線色は、コネクタカタログを参照ください。

・ソケットの締付けねじを手で回転させ、プラグとの隙間がほぼ無くなる程度ま
で締付けてください。
・締付けが不十分ですと、保護構造（ＩＰ６７）が保てなかったり、振動でのゆ
るみの原因となります。

・ 推奨コネクタを用い、適正締付トルクで締付けてください｡過大なトルクで締付
けられますとケース破損の原因となります｡
・ 1/2－１４ＮＰＴをご使用の際には、ＩＰ６７を確保するために、コネクタのコ
ンジット側にシールテープを巻付けてください｡
・ ケーブルについては該当コネクタが要求する適正外径でご使用ください｡
・ 配線の際には、使用しない箇所のコンジット口は付属のキャップスクリューを
用い、適正締付トルクで締付けてください｡（２コンジットタイプの場合）

・ シールゴムのズレや浮き、及び異物の付着があるとシール性を損ないます。異常の
ないことを確認し使用してください。
・ シール性が低下する恐れがあります。 正規のカバー取付けねじ以外は使用しない

・ 可変レバーなど長レバーでご使用の際には、テレグラフィングが発生しやすくな
りますので対策として以下の方法をお奨めします。
１）ドッグの後端をなめらかな角度１５～３０°にするか、２次曲線で結んで
ご使用ください。
２）回路にて誤動作信号を検出しないように変更してください。
・ スイッチのアクチュエータ（ローラ）に斜めから荷重を印加するとアクチュエー
タの変形・折損および回転軸の変形・折損の原因となるので、まっすぐにドッグ
があたるようにしてください

Do not use metal connector or conduit with this switch. The broken
conduit hole may cause electrical shock hazard.

1. Environment
1-1. The switch is intended for indoor use only.
1-2. Do not use your D4N outdoor, or the switch will malfunction.
1-3. Do not use your D4N in the atmosphere of hazardous gases (H
HNO , CI , etc.) or high temperature and humidity, or it will cause the imperfect

closing of the contacts or the breakage thereof stemming from corrosion.
1-4. Do not use the switch under any of the conditions mentioned below.
･ Frequent temperature range.
･ High humidity or dew condensation may be generated.
･ Where the switch is subject to severe vibration.
･ Where the metal dust, oil, or chemical is sprayed inside the door.
･ Where thinner is applied.
2. Mounting method

2-2. Switch
1) The switch will be fastened to specified torque in clause 2-1 with M4 screws
and washers.
2) Mount the switch with a screw which cannot be easily detached for safety.

3. Lever
To change the angle of the lever, loosen the lever clamping screw. Then the lever
can be set at any angle in 7.5° increments.
The length of a variable roller lever can be changed by loosening the lever
clamping screw.
The lever mounting position may be inside out after removing the lever clamping
screw. Make sure that the lever will not touch the switch when the lever is
mounted inside out.
4. Head direction
The rotation of the switch head may be adjusted to any of the four directions by
loosening the head clamping screws at the four corners of the head.
5. Wiring
5-1. When connect with insulation tubes and terminals, connect the terminals as
shown in the following figure and wire without overriding to the case and the
cover. Adequate conductor size is AWG 20 to 18 (0.5 to 0.75 ㎜
Wire leads as shown in the following figure. Otherwise, the switch cover does
not fit.

5-2. Do not push the ring connector and the likes into the opening between the parts
in order to prevent the case from being broken and deformed.
5-3. Use terminals having the thickness of 0.5 ㎜ or less to avoid the contact
between the terminal and the switch case inside.

6. Contact arrangement
The following show a safety contact and an auxiliary contact for 3 contacts and 2
contacts types.

7. Socket Tightening (connector type)
Connect the socket connector to the connector threads of the D4N. Then firmly turn the
CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION socket connector by hand so that the connector threaded portion will be completely
covered by the socket connector so that space will be almost 0.
Make sure, however, that the socket connector is tightened securely, otherwise the
rated degree of protection of the D4N may not be maintained. Furthermore, the socket
connector may be loosened by vibration.
8.Conduit opening
Use the connectors recommended in clause 9 and tighten the connector with specified
torque in clause 2-1. An excessive torque will bring a case breakage.
When using 1/2-14NPT, wind sealing tape around the joint between connector and
conduit opening so that the enclosure will conform to IP67.
Use a cable with a suitable diameter for the connector.
For unused conduit opening, apply a cap screw provided and tighten it to specified
torque in clause 2-1.
9. Recommendation of connector
Use the connector with thread section of 9 ㎜ long or less. In the case of the connector
with longer thread section, protruded part may interfere with the other parts inside the
body. Use below listed connector to secure IP67.

11-3. In the case of a long actuator of an adjustable roller lever type, the following
countermeasures against lever shaking are recommended.
1) Make the rear edge of the object smooth with an angle of 15°to 30°or
make it in the shape of a quadratic curve.
2) Design the circuit so that no error signal will be generated.
11-4. The load for the actuator of the switch must be imposed on the actuator in the
horizontal direction, otherwise the actuator or the rotating axis may be
deformed or damaged.
