5.3 Connection of the gateway to
the Chaff oteaux heating product
The connection procedure between
the Gateway and the Chaff oteaux
boiler varies depending on whether
only the Remote Diagnostics function
is to be enabled for the Chaff oteaux
Service Center, or both functions
of Remote Control and Remote
Diagnostics.
Connection for the
Remote Diagnostics function (Fig. 1)
- Connect the supplied serial cable
to the serial input of the gateway
- Connect the other end of the
cable to the serial connector on
the Chaff oteaux boiler
Connection for the
Remote Control function (Fig. 2)
- Connect the supplied serial cable
to the serial input of the gateway
- Connect the supplied two-pole
cable to the TA input of the
gateway
- Connect the ends of the two
cables to the corresponding serial
and TA inputs on the Chaff oteaux
boiler.
