IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

To reduce the risk of harming yourself or causing damage, basic safety precautions must always be taken when using
electrical appliances, including the following:
-
Do not plug in the fryer before filling it with oil.
-
Keep the fryer out of the reach of children during and after its use, as the oil remains hot for a long time.
-
Never let the cable come into contact with hot surfaces and do not let it hang over the edge of the worktop, as a child
could take hold of the cable and pull the fryer off the worktop.
-
Do not touch the fryer body and do not remove the oil or move the fryer while the oil is hot.
-
After cleaning, make sure that all the parts are completely dry before using them again.
-
Never leave the fryer unattended while it is on.
-
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with this appliance.
-
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or his authorised technical agent or by a
qualified technician, so as to avoid any risk.
-
Be careful with the steam while cooking as it can scald you.
-
Never place the fryer near or on hot cooking rings.
-
This fryer is intended for domestic use only.
-
Always unplug the fryer after using it.
-
Do not submerge the fryer in water.
-
This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) of reduced physical, sensorial or mental
capabilities or who lack experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed in how to use
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with
the appliance.
Before plugging in the appliance.

Dismantling
1
Lift the lid.
2
Remove the basket.
Assembling and Using
1
Pour in oil until it is between the "MAX" (maximum) and "MIN" (minimum) marks.
2
Put in the basket and close the lid.
3
Select the desired temperature on the control panel (7).
4
The indicator light (6) will go out when the oil reaches the temperature selected for frying. Fill the basket and put it in
the oil. Do not exceed the established maximum quantities of food. The light will come on and go off while the fryer
is maintaining the desired temperature.
5
When the food is ready, take off the lid and raise the basket and place it on the hanger (8).
6
To use the oil again, let it cool down and then pour the oil through a piece of muslin or absorbent paper.
7
Always unplug the fryer after using it.
Advice
-
Only use the fryer on a clean, dry, flat, stable, heat resistant surface, away from the edge.
-
Never use the fryer without oil or with insufficient oil.
8
-
We recommend that you use a good quality oil for frying. Other oils can be used if the manufacturer specifically
recommends them for frying. Never mix oils.
-
Pre-cooked food requires a higher temperature than raw food.
-
Cook the food completely. The outside may appear ready before the inside is cooked.
-
Leave the fryer with oil in it (cooled down and strained), ready for use. The lid keeps out dust.
-
Before frying food coated in batter or breadcrumbs remove any excess coating.
-
To fry potatoes, cut the potatoes into pieces of equal size so that they cook uniformly. Rinse and dry them before
cooking. To obtain the best results use potatoes with a dry floury texture.
-
To prolong the life of the fryer, strain the oil after each use and change it after using it 8-10 times.
-
Remove any excess ice before frying frozen food.
-
To make crunchier food, fry it without the lid on.
-
Only use metal utensils in the fryer as plastic and rubber will be damaged by the hot oil. Do not leave metal utensils
in the fryer as they will get hot.
-
Do not fry food without using the basket supplied.
