the appliance works correctly.

They refer to contents that may lead to serious or even fatal injuries. Take the following precautions to
reduce the risk of accidents:

Never leave the appliance uncontrolled when it is plugged in. Unplug the appliance after each use.

Adults or children must not operate this appliance without help or supervision if they are physically,
sensorially or mentally incapable of doing so safely. Children should be watched to make sure that they
do not play with this product.

The appliance should only be used for the purpose described in the manual. Do not use accessories
that have not been recommended by the manufacturer.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, authorised technical service or
qualified engineer to prevent dangerous situations.

Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.

Do not wind the cord around the appliance.
-
Do not put it on a soft surface, such as a bed or a settee.

Do not use the appliance outdoors, where aerosols (sprays) are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.

Do not use an extension cable with this appliance.

If the plug does not fit into the socket, turn it around. If it still does not fit into it, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to change the plug in any way.

Do not use a voltage converter.

Do not use the appliance near to water in baths, washbasins or other containers.

Do not cover the hair straighteners with other elements, and avoid damaging the internal components.

Do not put the hot part near to your skin or your scalp.

The hair straighteners have precision parts and a constant temperature control system to guarantee
safety.

Do not disassemble the appliance. Avoid damaging the product.

Clean the outer casing with a dry cloth. Prevent water from entering the appliance and using other
liquids. Avoid damaging the product.

As an extra safety measure, we recommend installing a circuit breaker with a cut-off limit that does not
exceed 30 mA. Ask your electrician about this.

Using the appliance:

Plug the appliance into a socket.
-
Press the on switch (1) for a few seconds to connect or disconnect the appliance.

After connecting the appliance, the "80 ºC" temperature indicator will appear on the LCD.
You can now adjust the temperature from 80 ºC to 220 ºC with the "temperature increase" (2) -
"temperature reduction" (3) or "temperature maintenance" (4) switches. When you press the temperature
maintenance switch (4), "LOC" will appear on the LCD screen. The temperature will be kept at the set
degrees. If you want to change the temperature, press the temperature maintenance switch (4) again.

The highest temperature is 220 ºC and the lowest 80 ºC.

Each time you press the temperature increase, reduction or maintenance switches the temperature will
go up or down.

If you push the increase, reduction or maintenance switches for a few seconds, the appliance will be
blocked. To release it, press the switch for a few seconds again.

The appliance will start to work again automatically in one hour, and will drop to room temperature and
with "SLP" displayed on the screen.

Unplug the appliance when you are not using it.
-
Adjust the temperature to the required level.
-
To use the appliance correctly: Put your dry hair between the two plates, close the straighteners, and
bring the handles together. Then slide it from the roots to the ends of your hair.

Leave the appliance to cool down before putting it away.
-
Keep the appliance in a safe place out of the reach of children.
Cleaning

When the straighteners are cold, clean them with a soft and damp cloth.
-
The appliance should be unplugged before cleaning.
-
Do not use chemical cleaning products.
-
Clean the outer casing with a dry cloth. Prevent water from entering the appliance and using other
liquids. Avoid damaging the product.

Do not clean the appliance with alcohol or solvent.
Storage

Always unplug the appliance after use.
-
Close the straightener plates and lock them to save space with the lock switch (6).
-
No not keep or put the appliance anywhere where it might fall or come into contact with water (near to
a bath, wash basin, etc.).

Do not use the appliance near children. The appliance should be kept out of the reach of children.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Electric products should not be thrown away with domestic rubbish. This appliance should be taken to a
local recycling centre for safe treatment.
