Below the descriptions of the features/options of the HPG 336DAB/DIR. The numbers between
the "(...)" refer to the key or connections on the unit. The illustrations can be found in the front
of this manual.
Power ON/OFF
• Long press the [ q ] (1) to turn ON.
• Long press [ q ] (1) to turn OFF.
Charging battery
When battery power is low, it will prompt with message "Battery Low" to remind for battery
charging. To charge the battery, connect the micro USB plug to the port (9) on the unit, connect
the other end to a power source supplied with 5V output (e.g. suitable adapter, computer/laptop
port).
Wi-Fi setup
AWi-Ficonnectionneedstobesetupfirsttobeabletouseinternetradio.Here'show:
• Press [Menu] (3)
•Goto'Configuration'usingthe[NAV]knob(6),Selectwith[OK]
• Go to 'Network'
• Go to 'Wi-Fi Network' > Add/Remove AP > Add AP (Scan) > Choose your network
• Enter 'user name' and 'password' of the network you're using.
Internet Radio
• Press [Menu]
• Turn the [NAV] knob (6) until 'internet radio' is shown.
•Press[OK](6)or[Right](5)toconfirm
• Now you can choose between: Skytune, Search and History
  S kytune:Hereyoucanfindradiostations,categorizedin:most famous, Local radio, Globe all,
Globe by Genre or Globe by region,toeasilyfindyourfavouriteradiostation.
Search: Here you can search by name.
• If you have found your desired radio station; press [OK] to start listening
Favourite internet radio stations
Radio stations where you have listened to will appear in the favourite list. Press Favourite (2)
to access.
Note: This only works for Internet radio, not for DAB or FM. Will be cleared after a new scan or
reset
DAB radio

• Turn the [NAV] knob until 'DAB radio' is shown
•Press[OK]or[Right]toconfirm
• T oscanDAB+stationsgotomenu>Configuration>DABSetup>DABPresetScanandpress[OK]
• A sthescanisfinished,thelistofavailableradiostationsisshown.
•Usethe[NAV]knobtoselectandconfirmwith[OK]
• Press previous [Left] to go back to the available DAB
• Press [Right] (multiple times) for more info
FM radio
• Press [Menu]
• Turn the [NAV] knob until 'FM radio' is shown
