SET UP

1. Insert batteries / adapters (as shown in the Power
section).
2. Turn the baby unit on first and then the parent unit.
3. The units now recognize each other as family. (They
automatically search for the best transmission
signal.) However, if the lost-link alarm sounds, the
connection has not been successful and you need
to repeat the above process.
4. Position the units no more than 300 meters (984
feet) from each other.
NOTE To purchase an additional parent unit
(BBM212M), contact your local retailer.
For best results:
• Place the units away from electrical or mechanical
objects, direct sunlight and moisture.
• Do not exceed the 300-meter (984-foot)
transmission range of the units.
• Minimize obstructions such as doors, walls and
furniture as this will decrease the transmission
range between the 2 units.
You may need to experiment with various locations to
get the best reception.

CONNECTION SIGNAL STATUS

The connection icon will show you the status of the
signal between the units.
is the icon for 2-way connection between the baby
and parent units.
is the icon for 3-way connection between the baby
and 2 parent units.

LOST-LINK ALARM

When the parent unit cannot receive data from the
baby unit (due to interference or out-of-range
distance), an alarm will sound and
temperature/ humidity reading on the parent unit will
display as "- - -". The alarm sound will stop only when
the connection between the units is linked again.
