The LIAN
sphygmomanometer is a professional non-invasive medical device for
measuring arterial blood pressure in conjunction with a stethoscope (auscultatory
method) : the maximum systolic value or SYS (as a result of the contraction of the
left ventricle) and the minimum diastolic value or DIA (as a result of relaxation of the
ventricles).
Preparations for measurement (cuff and stethoscope)
Select the correct size cuff for the patient's arm circumference (standard cuff
calibration for the bladder: cuff size, index limits, artery position (middle of the
bladder).
