5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Never use chemical impregnant to clean the scale. Please use a damp cloth to clean
the surface, but avoid the water getting inside the scale.
Maintenance:
a) The scale will be slippery when it is wet. Keep it dry!
b) Do not drop it or jump on it.
c) Avoid breaking the scale by striking, shocking or dropping.
d) Keep the scale in horizontal position.
e) Please remove the batteries if it is not in use for a long time.
f) Try to use the scale in same condition to differentiate the weight of body in dif-
ferent period.

6. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

How to replace the battery:
Open the battery compartment, remove the battery from the compartment and dis-
connect it. Connect up the new battery, being careful to comply with connection
polarity. Close the cover.
