Replace the torch and follow the above steps in reverse
order.
Note - Do not dent the current pin and do not bend the
pegs of the torch fitting.
5.3 REPLACING THE TORCH BODY E
Remove the grip F from the body E. Disconnect the wires
from the safety contacts G and H. Disconnect the connec-
tion L. Unscrew the fitting I after cutting the insulating tube
K.
Assemble the new torch body by following the above
steps in reverse order.
Note - Insulate the fitting I by having the heat-shrink insu-
lating tube K adhere to it; this is done by heating it with
a small heat source (i.e., a cigarette lighter).
Before mounting the grip, make sure that the cables are
far apart and that the connections are firmly tightened.
5.4 REPLACING THE GRIP
Remove the grip F from the body E. Disconnect the wires
from the safety contacts G and H. Disconnect the con-
nection L. Unscrew the fitting I after cutting the insulating
tube K.
Assemble the new torch body by following the above
steps in reverse order.
Note - Insulate the fitting I by having the heat-shrink insu-
lating tube K adhere to it; this is done by heating it with
a small heat source (i.e., a cigarette lighter).
Before mounting the grip, make sure that the cables are
far apart and that the connections are firmly tightened.
5.5 REPLACING THE CENTRAL ADAPTOR N+W+W1
Remove the ring-nut W
cable J. Unscrew the screw M and pull the cover W out
towards the back. Remove the pegs of the control cables
X and Z, remove the jumpers T and the pegs of the red
pilot arc cables Y and Y
unscrew the body N from the fitting I
fitting by following the above steps in reverse order. To
block the thread of the body N, use thread sealing adhe-
sive. To avoid jeopardizing the effectiveness of the
safety device, it is important that the body N contacts
are connected as follows: pegs Y and Y
pilot arc cables to contacts 5 and 6, peg X of cable J
to contact 1, peg Z of cable J to contact 9.
