6. Preparing the devices for use

6.1 Charging with the power supply unit

• Plug the power supply unit into the outlet socket of the power supply.
NOTE
Compare the local electric power supply with the connection values of the
device. Should the connection values not match, please contact
info@walser.de.
• The device starts charging
• The LEDs for the powerpack charge condition light up, in dependence on the
charge condition
• Once the device has been charged, all LED's of the powerpack charge condition
light up
NOTE
The time required for a complete charging of the powerpack is approx-. 4-5 hours.
NOTE
In order to ensure the longevity of the power pack you must charge the power
pack to full capacity before using the video light for the first time. Use the power
pack until it is completely discharged. Then recharge the power pack to full
capacity. Repeat these steps about 2 times.

• Insert the charged powerpack into the battery holder on the back of the video
lamp, so that it clicks into place.

6.2 Use in combination with the power supply unit

• Plug the mains cable of the device into the socket on the device, then connect the
mains cable with the outlet socket of the electric power supply.
NOTE
Compare the local electric power supply with the connection values of
the device. Should the connection values not match, please contact
info@walser.de.
NOTE
After use disconnect the device from the local power supply by simply pulling out
the mains plug.

6.3 Mounting the device on the camera (optional)

NOTE
Please follow the user information issued by the tripod manufacturer.
WARNING
Only mount the device on a tripod that has been designed for the weight
and dimensions of the device. See technical specifications.
Make sure that the tripod with the mounted device is safe against tipping over or
slipping.
• Loosen the fastening screw.
• Plug the device with the bracket on the tripod.
• Tighten the fastening screw.

7. Operating the device

7.1 Adjusting the tilt angle

• Loosen the inclination screw
• Adjust the desired inclination angle
• Tighten the inclination screw.
