1. Device description

2. Usage
This device is exclusively intended for sus-
pension or installation in wardrobes in private
households. It is not intended for suspension
or installation in other areas and also not for
use in commercial or industrial areas.

4. Operation
The ion generator inside the device generates
negatively charged ions which neutralise
unpleasant smells.

Important safety
instructions
To avoid danger through electric
shock:
• Keep the device away from water and moi-
sture.
• Never immerse the device in water or other
liquids.
• Do not insert metallic or other objects in the
device.
• Never open the device housing.
To avoid fire and injury hazards:
• Do not block the device ventilation slits
• Keep the device away from flammable and
explosive objects.
• Avoid heat and exposing the device to
direct sun radiation.
5. Start-up
Before starting the device, satisfy yourself
that the device, power cord and power plug
are in perfect condition and all packaging
materials have been removed from the devi-
ce. Operate the device either with batteries or
with the mains adapter included in the scope
of delivery as described in points 6+7.
Suspend the device from the clothes bar by
...
• compressing the lower, right-hand part of
the suspension frame
and slide the han-
ger up
,
• place the open hanger around/over the
clothes bar,
• and allow the hanger to engage in the
suspension frame again.
Secure the device to the interior of your war-
drobe ... using a nail or hook.
Caution:
Always ensure that the ventilation
slits of the device are not covered by clothing
or other items.
6. Battery operation
The device can be operated with 6 size "C"
batteries. The battery compartment is located
at the back of the device and can be opened
by pressing down the plastic lug.
The three light emitting diodes above the
"HI-LO-OFF" step switch on the front indicate
the capacity of the inserted batteries.
• The red LED display lights up when new
batteries must be inserted.
• The yellow LED display lights up when the
batteries are getting weak.
• The green LED display lights up when the
batteries are fully operational.
For optimum performance, batteries should
be replaced every two weeks.

7. Mains adapter operation
You can also operate the device with mains
power (even with batteries inserted).
To operate the device with mains power...
• initially switch off the device by placing the
step switch in the "OFF" position,
• insert the adapter in the opening at the
back of the device provided for this
purpose.
• Insert the plug in the socket – the green
LED display lights up.
8. Operation
Select from the intensity stages "HI" (high)
and "LO" (low) depending on the size of your
wardrobe. The device operates automatically
in intermittent mode and switches itself on for
10 minutes every 5 hours.
If you wish to get rid of strong smells or ope-
rate the device at a specific time, press the
"BOOST" button.
The green LED display under the "BOOST"
button lights up when the device is in
"BOOST" mode. After 10 minutes of
"BOOST" operation, the device automatically
switches back to intermittent operation.
Switch off the device by placing the step
switch in the "OFF" position.
Caution:
If you are operating the device
with mains power, pull the power plug after
use.
