EN General installation information and safety
: This panel mount OEM drive is supplied for simple integration into
equipment utilising Watson-Marlows range of peristaltic pump heads. A pump head (102R / 114 / 300 / 500 series) must be
fitted before use, as the primary operator protection from rotating parts, is provided by the pump head safeguard, which
differs, depending on the type of pump head. Refer to literature supplied with pump head. Ensure there is no possibility of the pump starting
/ running, before carrying out any Drive / pump head / tube, installation or maintenance. Only the front of the gearbox (diameter N, motor
drawing) and output shaft should be accessible by the operator or exposed to pumped fluids.
Refer to these installation instructions and safety notes overleaf prior to installation.
PAT Testing
: The earth fault test current should be limited to 200mA for PAT testing of the output shaft to prevent damage to gearbox
bearings.
