4 - MAINTENANCE
Before, during and after diving, a visual inspection can help to identify any problems with the equipment
before a dangerous situation occurs, thereby avoiding diving accidents.
4.1 Maintenance after each dive
Rinse your light thoroughly with clean water.
When opening in order to charge, do not place the head in the axis of the screw.
WARNING: Do not allow any sand, or any other foreign bodies, to enter the light. Under certain
conditions, foreign bodies can prevent the light from closing completely.
4.2 Annual maintenance and preparation for winter
Your light must be inspected and serviced at the end of the season, or even more often, if you
dive frequently.
Any damage due to a lack of suitable maintenance of the light will not be covered by the
guarantee.
Inspect your light once a year and look for any signs of wear.
At the end of each season, grease the seals with a silicone-free grease.
Disconnect the battery from the head of the product when travelling by air.
When opening in order to charge, do not place the head in the axis of the screw.
Recommendations for use:
After use in 10 dives and at the end of each season, grease the seals with a silicone-free grease.
Disconnect the battery from the head of the product and charge the battery in the winter.
If water has leaked into the light, do not try to open it. Return it to Decathlon, a certified TRIBORD
service centre.
5 - STORAGE
Between each use, store your light in a cool, dark and dry place, and avoid excessive heat.
