Thank you for selecting the Martin Yale Model 62001 High Speed Letter Opener. The Model
62001 is an automatic letter opener capable of processing up to 17,500 mixed envelopes per
hour and makes it possible to handle large volumes of different sized envelopes without pre-
sorting. Please review this manual in its entirety before attempting to operate your Model
62001. Thorough understanding of this information will help eliminate most operator-associat-
ed errors and ensure years of trouble-free performance.

  • Página 4 4.0 Installation and Set-up 4.1 Installation Place the Model 62001 on a flat, level surface where it will be used. Make sure ample space is provided for the catcher base. The cooling slots on the machine back should be unobstructed. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

  • Página 15 3.8 Interlockschakelaar De borgpen van de interlockschakelaar (B) spreekt aan zodra de frontplaat (F) wordt opgetild. Daardoor wordt de stroomtoevoer automatisch onderbroken en de machine uitgeschakeld, zodat de bediener nooit in aanraking kan komen met beweeglijke onderdelen. 3.9 Automatische motorbeveiligingsschakelaar In het onwaarschijnlijke geval van een papierdoorvoerstoring of andere machinestoring, zal de motor automatisch stoppen als gevolg van oververhitting.
  • Página 16 6.3 Onderhoud van het terughoudwiel Het terughoudwiel draait niet, dientengevolge zal het na verloop van tijd op één plaats vlak worden. Als dit gebeurt, dan de schroef in het midden van het terughoudwiel losdraaien en het wiel enigszins draaien om aan een nieuw vlakje te beginnen. 6.4 Onderhoud van de messen Na het verwerken van 40.00 poststukken moeten de messen boven en beneden met een smeermiddel worden behandeld zoals Premier Brand Trim Ease Lubricant (Martin Yale artikelnummer MRS037046, verkrijgbaar bij uw Martin Yale Dealer).

  • Página 19 3.7 Pestaña de la polea La pestaña de la polea tiene como función separar los sobres individuales para que sólo se introduzca en la alimentación un sobre a la vez. Notará usted que la polea (N) rebota de arriba abajo cuando el aparato está funcionando. Esto es normal. 3.8 Enclavamiento de seguridad La lengüeta del enclavamiento de seguridad (B) se libera cada vez que se levanta la cubierta frontal (F).

    6.2 Courroies de chargement Environ toutes les 20 heures de fonctionnement de la machine, nettoyer les courroies de chargement avec du savon et de l’eau.   • Página 27 3.8 Sicherheitsabschaltung Die Sperre der Sicherheitsabschaltung (B) spricht an, sobald die vordere Abdeckung (F) angehoben wird. Die Stromzufuhr wird sofort abgeschaltet. Dadurch wird die Maschine abgestellt um zu verhindern, dass der Anwender in Kontakt mit beweglichen Teilen kommen kann. 3.9 Automatischer Reset des Thermoschalters In dem unwahrscheinlichen Fall eines Papierstaus oder einer anderen Störung der Maschine kann der Motor wegen Überhitzung automatisch abschalten.

    6.2 Förderbänder Die Förderbänder des Geräts sind etwa alle zwanzig Betriebsstunden mit einer Seifenlösung zu reinigen. Maschine dazu mehrmals aus- und einschalten um sicherzustellen, dass die gesamte Länge der Förderbänder gereinigt wird. 6.3 Wartung Rückhalterad Das Rückhalterad dreht sich nicht. Daher wird es sich im Laufe der Zeit an einer Stelle abnutzen. Falls dies eintritt, lösen Sie einfach die mittlere Schraube des Rückhalterads und drehen das Rad weiter, um eine unbeschädigte Stelle freizulegen.
