Description
This document includes installation information for the KZ700
Mounting Base for conventional detectors. For pipe installation
the S700 pipe installation mount (not supplied) is required.
Installation
Caution:
For general guidelines on system planning, design,
installation, commissioning, use, and maintenance, refer to the
EN 54-14 standard and local regulations.
Connection
Connect the line as follows:
•
Terminal 1 – Line in / out (positive)
•
Terminal 3 – Line out (negative)
•
Terminal 4 – Line in (negative)
Connect remote indicators as follows:
•
Terminal 1 – Remote indicator (positive)
•
Terminal 2 – Remote indicator (negative)

Cabling requirements

must follow the recommended cabling practices described
below.

Have a cross-sectional area of at least 1.5 mm²
Have maximum resistance of 13.3 Ω / km per core
