DAILYCHEK
Before driving: check that the
vehicle is in good working condition
The driver must inspect his/her vehicle
and check the following specifi c aspects:
‣ If the clearance lights are fl ashing,
this means that a component is not
in its driving position: for example,
a tail liſt is down or a door is open
‣ The maintenance light on the
NextControl spiral-cabled control
unit is "off "
Aſt er use: check that the systems
are shut down
The driver must inspect his vehicle
and ensure the following actions are
performed:
‣ Switch off the refrigeration unit
via the cab
‣ Disconnect the power to the
SmartOpen-C

DIAGNOSTICS
If the Service Centre carrying out dia-
gnostics on CHEREAU NEXT® Vehicles
is equipped with a suitable diagnostic
equipment then a more comprehensive
diagnostic can be achieved. In the case
of a periodic inspection, malfunction
or failure of his/her CHEREAU NEXT®
system, the user can contact CHEREAU
Services, which will advise him/her of
the nearest Service Centre equipped
with this equipment.
As for your motor vehicle (tractor unit
or rigid), the CHEREAU NEXT system
can be checked using a diagnostics kit
available at most CHEREAU Service
Centres.

FEATURES AVAILABLE VIA THE NEXTCONTROL UNIT
The control unit is optional and is located at the rear of the body.
Lighting control
This button allows the user to switch the light inside the body on or off
Interface with the refrigeration unit
Displays the selected
compartment
Displays the temperature measured in the selected compartment.
If the refrigeration unit is on, displays the setpoint temperature in the selected
compartment*
Change setpoint
When changing the setpoint, this button allows the temperature to be reduced**
When changing the setpoint, this button allows the temperature to be increased**
Tailgate and SmartOpen-C control
Select SmartOpen-C control
Lower the SmartOpen-C or tail liſt
User alerts
Maintenance light combined with a button for displaying
faults (details below)

FAULT LIST
This button is illuminated in
red when there is a fault code
If the button is illuminated, the user needs
to press it to see the fault code. The fault
code is displayed in the temperature
display window.
To return to temperature display, the user
needs to either press the "maintenance"
button again or wait a few seconds.
