5. Do not use a battery charger for lead batteries that has an automatic
desulphation function during its charging cycle. It is recommended to use
a battery charger specifically for lithium batteries.
6. Do not short circuit or connect with an inverted polarity.
7. Do not open, disassemble, deform or modify the battery.
8. Do not overcharge or allow the battery to discharge excessively.
9. Keep it out of the reach of children.
10. Before sending it to a recycling centre, discharge the battery
completely.
11. If not being used, store it in a dry, cool and well ventilated place.
12. If you are not using the vehicle where the battery is installed for
more than 6 weeks, keep on checking the battery charge. Proceed
charging it if the charge is below 12,8V.
13. Use the specific spacers if it is necessary to adapt the battery to
larger sized compartments.
14. Do not touch the electrolyte if it has leaked out the battery, as it could
harm skin and eyes. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with
soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, wash with water and seek
medical advice.
15. The starting ability can decrease at temperatures below 0°C.
16. Do not use the battery in combination with other batteries with
different a capacity, type or brand.
These instructions must be read carefully. Some improper behaviours
(such as short circuiting the poles or subjecting it to current discharges
above the maximum limit) can cause smoke, flame and be hazardous
for nearby persons.
