INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Please read these Operating Instructions through carefully before connecting your device to the mains, in order to
avoid damage due to incorrect use. Please pay particular attention to the safety information. If you pass the device
on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also be handed over.
SAFETY INFORMATION
1.
Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to faults on the device and injuries to the user.
2.
In the event of improper use or incorrect handling, no liability can be accepted for any damage that may occur.
3.
Before you put the plug into the socket, please check that the type of current and mains voltage correspond to
the instructions on the nameplate on the underside of the appliance.
4.
Keep the base away from damp, and protect from splashes.
5.
Do not immerse the unit or mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!
However, if this should occur, remove the mains plug immediately and then have the unit checked by an expert
before using it again.
6.
Do not operate the device if the mains cable or the mains plug show signs of damage, if the device has fallen on
the floor or has been otherwise damaged. In such cases take the device to a specialist for checking and repair,
if necessary.
7.
Ensure that the mains cable does not hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open
flames. Only pull it out of the socket by the plug, not by the cable.
8.
Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface, away from hot objects (e.g. hotplates), naked
flames; do not place under curtains or low wall-cupboards.
9.
This device is not suitable for commercial use not for use in the open air.
10. You should never leave the device unattended during use.
11. Children cannot recognize the hazards which attend improper handling of electrical devices. Therefore, children
should never use electrical domestic appliances unsupervised.
12. Keep the front inlet grill and the side outlet free from air blocking materials, such as clothing, plastic bag or
pages.
13. Always keep the unit at an up-right position to avoid water leakage.
14. To avoid electric shock. Do not open. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
15. Any repair work must be done by qualified technician appointed by our distributors.
16. Specifications are subject to change for improvement without prior notice.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
18. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
19. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer-switch or by means of a separate system
with remote control .
20. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
• staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
• farm houses;
• by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments.
