Purpose
GenuMax knee Supports provide anatomical guidan-
ce for the affected knee joint, thus relieving it during
movement. Thanks to their bi-elastic knitted fabric,
sometimes in combination with anatomically shaped
pads, the supports apply compression, promoting
lymphatic drainage which results in reduced swelling
and pain alleviation. Proprioception and the resulting
muscular auto-stabilisation of the knee joint are im-
proved.
Here is how to put on your GenuMax Knee
Support correctly:
Please ask your physician or medical specialty re-
tailer to show you how to apply your knee support
correctly. We recommend that you follow these inst-
ructions closely. Attention: Rough finger nails, jagged
rings etc. can damage the fabric.
Please note:
Wear your knee support only per your physician's pre-
scription. Knee supports should only be dispensed by
trained personnel at a medical specialty store. As the-
rapy progresses or new symptoms appear, it will be
necessary to take new measurements and possibly
to produce a new knee support. Although your knee
support is largely resistant to oils, ointments, skin
moisture and other environmental influences, the
fabric as well as a possibly worked in pressure pad
can be adversely affected by certain combinations of
these factors. It is therefore recommended to have
your knee support checked regularly by your medical
specialist retailer. If your knee support becomes da-
maged please consult your specialty retailer. Do not
repair it yourself as this could impair the quality and
effectiveness. For hygienic reasons, the support is
not suitable for treating more than one patient.
