Unfolding the City Elite
Unfolding the stroller - Illustration 1-3
The under-carriage is fitted with a safety pin for transportation. Unbolt it by turn-
ing the pin down. Turn the under- carriage upside down and unfold the stroller.
Ensure that the plastic plates, both left and right, click firmly into place. The height
of the push bar is adjustable by pushing the adjustment buttons, left and right, at
the same time, allowing the lowering or raising of the bar.

Take the two big wheels and place one on each axle, making sure to simultane-
ously press the spring down. Check if the wheels are secure and check the tire
pressure. If necessary, fill the tires with air with the optional Firstwheels pump.
The maximum tire pressure is 28PSI (2.0 bar).

Pushing the lever down, in between the back wheels, activates the brake. To
release the brake, pull the same lever up with your foot.
Stroller seat - Illustration 7
Make sure that the connecting piece of the seat fits exactly on the adaptor of the
under-carriage and that it clicks firmly into place. The seat may be placed facing
the front or the back.
Velcro - Illustration 8
For extra safety always make sure the Velcro straps at the top of the backrest are
well connected around the frame.

When placing children in the seat, ensure the brake is on. Fasten the shoulder
straps to the hip belt; always double check if all safety belts are fastened.
Sun Hood - Illustration 10
When using the hood, ensure the plastic components of the hood are lined up
with those of the seat. Ensure they click firmly into place.
Position of the seat - Illustration 11
The seat can be placed in 3 different reclining positions. Press the round buttons
at both sides simultaneously to put the seat in the requested position.
Lockable front wheel - Illustration 12
Pull the locking handle up to lock the front wheels in position. The wheels are
now locked in a straight position and the stroller will go in a straight line. Push
the locking handle down to unlock the front wheels, the front wheels will now
swivel again, making the stroller very easy to manoeuvre.
Use of cot (optional) - Illustration 13 - 15
Put both plastic sides of the travel cot in a vertical position. Turn the plastic
components down at both sides. Pull at the loops on the bottom of the cot, until
you hear it click. Place the cot on the under-carriage and push downwards until
it clicks into place. Push down at the foot end of the cot to lock into place.
Connecting the bumper bar – illustration 16
Ensure that the plastic components of the bumper bar are well connected on the
seat and it clicks firmly into place.
