IMPORTANT NOTE
- It is suggested that a rectal used thermometer is separated from a axillary or oral
used thermometer because of hygienic reason.
- Rectal temperatures are an appropriate and reliable method for infants and small
children. Otherwise, it is advised to be used when it is impossible or impractical to
take an oral or auxiliary temperature.

Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the tip.
WARNING
- Do not use petroleum jelly like Vaseline for easier insertion, as this may cause
irritation.

Gently insert the tip of the probe maximum 1 cm into the rectum.
•
Press the ON/OFF button (4) briefly. After all segments have been displayed,
'L°C' flashes on the display.
•
The thermometer starts measurement.
•
When the temperature stabilizes at peak temperature, 4 beeps are audible and
the result is displayed.
•
Press the ON/OFF button (4) to turn the unit off or the unit will automatically shut
off after approximately ten minutes.

Cleaning and storing
•
Clean your Digital Thermometer by wiping it with soap and water or 70%
isopropyl Alcohol.
•
This waterproof thermometers can be immersed in liquid or lukewarm water
(maximum 40°C) for through cleaning and disinfection.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- Do not immerse the waterproof thermometers in liquid for longer than 30 minutes.
- Do not clean with thinner, petrol or benzene. Only clean with water or disinfectant.
- The thermometer is calibrated and does not need re-calibration if used according
to the instructions.

Store the unit in the supplied protection case in a dry place.
