To switch the Extreme on or o , press and hold the power button (1) .
This activates the Permanent-On mode for devices drawing low power
and it will remain activated until the unit is switched o . Devices drawing
a larger amount of power will be automatically recognised without having
to first switch on the Extreme.
To check the charge level, tap the power button and the LEDs (2) will
illuminate, with each showing a 25% increment of charge. If all LEDs are
solid-on, the Extreme is fully charged. If the first LED is flashing, the
Extreme needs to be recharged.
To recharge the Extreme via the solar panel, connect the two using the
supplied USB to USB-C cable between the panel's USB output (3) and the
Extreme's bi-directional USB-C port (4), then expose the panels (5) to
direct sunlight with no obstructions (such as shadows or glass). The LED
(6) will be red if the strength of the sunlight is low, and green if it is high
enough to provide a charge. Readjust every couple of hours to follow the
Sun.
To recharge the Extreme via the USB-C port, connect the USB to USB-C
cable and connect to a power source.
To charge devices via the USB-C port, connect the USB to USB-C cable, or
your device's own, then connect to your device.
To charge devices using the USB output (7), connect one of the supplied
cables or your device's own, then connect your device. You can
simultaneously charge the Extreme and charge devices form the USB
output.
To charge devices via the DC output (8), press and hold the power button,
then connect your device either directly to the port or use your device's
in-Car charger and the supplied female 12V car charger socket.
