Remove the hairstyling appliance from the beauty case.
Always use the appliance with an accessory installed
on it.
Insert the plug on the power cord (A) into a suitable
power socket.
The appliance has 2 speeds and 2 temperature levels,
which may be used in various combinations to suit the
user's requirements:
Speed control (C)
OFF off
LOW low speed/ hot air
HIGH high speed/ hot air
COOL high speed/ cool air
ION GENERATOR function
The hairstyling appliance is fitted with a device for pro-
duction of negative ions during operation. Indicator light
(E) will come on when it is working. Negative ions reduce
the size of drops of water on the hair so that more water
is absorbed, helping to soften and condition the hair and
leaving it shiny and full-bodied.

Application
Snap the accessory you wish to use onto the body of
the appliance, checking that it is connected up properly.
When you wish to replace the accessory, press button
(F) to release the accessory from the body of the appli-
ance.
Air conveyor (G)
The perfect accessory for drying the hair quickly with
abundant air.
The air conveyor opening allows you to dry particular
locks of hair with extra care and create special effects.
This may be done with hot or cold air. To replace acces-
sories, simply press button (F) and separate the hair
styling appliance from the accessory assembled on it.

The appliance is supplied with three brush accessories.
The rounded brush with soft bristles is recommended

for putting the finishing touches on styles, while the
rounded steel brush is ideal for styling the tips of the
hair and the square brush adds body and volume to the
hair. To replace accessories, simply press button (F)
and separate the body of the hair styling appliance from
the accessory assembled on it.
Cleaning accessories.
Always remove accessories from the appliance before
cleaning.
Wash accessories with warm, soapy water and rinse
them in running water. Make sure they are completely
dry before you use them again.

The hairstyling appliance is intended for styling damp or
towel-dried hair.
Slowly brush the hair from the roots toward the tips.
Gather hair into locks 4 to 5 cm wide to form curls or
waves or add volume.
Holding the appliance handle with one hand and the cold
end of the accessory with the other, wrap the lock of
hair around the accessory and rotate the appliance to
form curls.
Leave the curl wound on the accessory for 10 to 15
seconds for thick to medium hair, 5 to 10 seconds for
fine hair. Repeat as necessary to produce the desired
effect.
To add body to the hair, brush upwards, away from the
scalp, combing in the direction opposite to the hair's
natural direction of growth. Repeat several times to cre-
ate lasting volume.
To straighten the hair, brush from the scalp to the tips
both above and below the lock of hair to be straight-
ened until the hair is warm and dry.
When you have finished drying the hair, use the cold po-
sition to fix the style.
IMPORTANT: never block up the grating at the air intake
opening, or the appliance may overheat. It this occurs, a
safety device will be triggered which automatically shuts
down the appliance.
The appliance will shut down automatically. You must turn
it off (put the switch in the OFF position) and unplug it. Re-
move all obstacles from the grating and wait ten minutes
before attempting to use the appliance again. If the appli-
ance does not start working again, contact an authorised
Polti service centre.

When finished using the appliance, do not leave it
plugged in. Unplug it and let it cool down before putting
it away in a safe, dry place out of the reach of children.
Never wind the power cord around the appliance.
Treat the cord carefully. Do not pull on it, bend it sharply
