SAFETY & TROUBLESHOOTING

This appliance is equipped with a thermal cutoff safety device to prevent
overheating.
2.
If the appliance has shut down automatically, remove all pots or pans from burner.
Turn both heating control dials to OFF and unplug from the electric outlet. Allow
approximately 10 minutes for the unit to cool down.
3.
Plug the power cord back into the outlet, turn both heating control dials to the
desired setting and continue to cook.
CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: Unplug from electrical outlet and allow to cool thoroughly before cleaning
the unit.
1.
Turn both heating control dials to OFF and unplug from the electric outlet.
2.
When the burners cool down completely and the Hot Plate unit is safe to handle,
clean using a damp, soft cloth or sponge and warm, soapy water. Wipe the
surface of the burner, burner rings, non-skid feet, and base.
Note: For best results, clean the appliance when it is warm, using warm,
soapy water. DO NOT use cold water on warm surface
WARNING: Never use harsh abrasives, steel wool or scouring pads to clean
the hot plate burner or the base as they may damage the surfaces and/or
cause hazards.
3.
Thoroughly dry burners and burner rings before use.
4.
Do not immerse the cord, plug or base in water or any other liquid.
