Removal process
Always attach the removal device so that the pulleys are
pointing to the respective corners.
Use the vacuum pump (pumping approx. 20–25 times)
until the red ring is no longer visible. To detach the removal
device, lift the edge of the rubber suction cup slightly while
firmly keeping hold of the device.
Seen from the inside, the removal process takes place in
an anti-clockwise direction; starting in the bottom right
hand corner, about 6–10 cm from the bottom edge of the
windscreen. (Fig. 3)
Use the cordless screw driver slowly to the right, adjusting
the speed depending on load. During this process hold the
removal protector internally between the windscreen removal
cord and the dashboard, shaft or roof lining, so that the
interior of the vehicle cannot be damaged. Now continue with
the removal process until the windscreen removal cord has
reached the bottom right corner .
Release the removal device and now attach it to the top right
corner (Fig. 4).
Continue the removal process as described above in a clock -
wise direction, while using the removal protector throughout
the entire removal process.
Upon reaching the top right corner, change the position
again to the top left corner (Fig. 5). Then change position
to the bottom left corner (Fig. 6) and complete the removal
process.
Now remove the removal device from the screen and release
the fastening hooks from the vehicle body .
You can now lift out the screen.
