1. Remove tow hook and 12mm bolts from end of each vehicle frame. The forward clip nut on each frame will also be removed. Save
bolts for hitch installation. Tow hook and clip nuts will no longer be used.
2. Position receiver assembly up against the bottom and outer surface of each vehicle frame. Loosely bolt in place at bottom of frame
attachment points using the previously removed 12mm bolts threaded into the weld nuts at end of each frame. Do not tighten bolts
at this time.
3. Assemble a carriage bolt #3 and square hole plate #2. Attach the pull wire to the threaded end of the carriage bolt and pull into the
box frame through access hole in bottom of frame. Continue pulling so that the carriage bolt extends out through the hole in the side
of the frame and hole in the hitch frame bracket. Loosely secure with flange nut #4. Repeat process on remaining hitch attachment
points.
4. Tighten all bolts to 75 ft. lbs. torque. Failure to tighten bolts as described may result in fastener loss or failure.
