n order to protect yourself from electric shocks, do not immerse the
plug, the power cable or the appliance in water or any other liquid.
INSTALLATION
• After unpacking, check the integrity of the appliance; if in doubt, do not use and contact a qualified
technician. The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene, metal staples, etc.) must not be left
within reach of children or irresponsible persons, as they constitute possible sources of danger and
must be disposed of according to applicable regulations.
• Before plugging in the appliance, ensure that the details on the identification plate (power, etc...)
correspond to those of your power supply. This appliance must be connected to a power outlet with
an effective grounding device (the manufacturer accepts no liability arising from failure to follow
this rule). In general, it is not advisable to use adapters, multiple sockets and / or extensions; if their
use is absolutely necessary, you must comply with current safety standards and the current capacity
(amps) must not be less than the maximum of the appliance.
• The appliance must not be placed directly beneath a plug point.
• The plug point must be easily accessible so as to easily remove the plug in case of an emergency.
• Before each use, check that the equipment is in good condition, that the wiring is not damaged: if in
doubt consult a qualified professional.
• It is recommended to keep the appliance away from the edge of the work surface and out of reach
of children.
• Ensure that the power cable is correctly positioned and does not come into contact with hot parts or
sharp edges, or become wound around the appliance itself, pass underneath the appliance, is not
twisted and does not snag, in order to prevent the appliance from falling.
• Upon first use, you should clean and wash the parts that will come in contact with food: see section
"Cleaning and Maintenance".
• Position the appliance:
- away from sources of heat (e.g. other ovens, gas stove, etc.), flammable materials (upholstery,
etc.), explosive material (aerosols); check that there is at least 50 cm of free space around the
unit.
- on a horizontal surface that is stable and heat resistant, on a surface that is not delicate (e.g.
lacquered surfaces, table cloths etc), where it will not be bumped and is sufficiently far from the
edge of the furniture to prevent the appliance from falling.
- away from liquid containers, such as sinks etc. If it should accidentally get wet or soak in liquid,
immediately disconnect the plug from the outlet, allow it to cool, dry thoroughly, and check that
the electrical parts are not wet; if in doubt consult a qualified professional.
• The user must not leave the appliance unattended when it is connect to the power supply
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote
control system in order to avoid the risk of fire where the appliance is covered or is not positioned
correctly.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Bimar
(Italy). The pages must be reproduced and folded in
order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210
mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't
change the page numbering. Keep the language
integrity.
