TOASTING
• It is not necessary to preheat the oven to toast but you may have more consistent results if you do.
• Open the oven door and slide wire rack into the middle position and place up to 4 slices of bread (depending on the
size of the bread) on the wire rack. The crumb tray should be in position under the heating elements.
• Turn the temperature knob to 450°F.
• Turn the function knob to TOAST. Turn the timer control knob past 20 then back to 10 min. and watch for desired
doneness. If you do not preheat the oven, the first toasting cycle may take a little longer.
• The power indicator light will come on while the time is in use.
• When the toast reaches the desired color, turn the timer to OFF and using oven mitts or potholders, open the oven
door. Slide the wire rack out with the shelf handle, oven mitts or potholders.
• Carefully remove the toast and repeat if desired for more toast. For best results allow a short cool down time
between toasting cycles.
ROTISSERIE
• Do NOT preheat the oven. Slide the baking pan into the lowest rack position.
• Tie the chicken or large pieces of meat tightly with cotton string to prevent the meat from hitting the baking pan.
You may check the internet for instructions on how to truss a chicken for rotisserie.
• Remove the prongs from the skewer by loosening the wing nut and sliding the prongs off the skewer.
• Insert the rotisserie skewer lengthwise into the center of the meat. Insert the prongs onto either end of the
skewer. Make sure the meat is centered on the skewer, insert the prongs into the meat securely and tighten the
wing nuts.
• Insert the pointed end of the skewer into the square hold in the oven on the right side. You can do this manually
or using the rotisserie handle.
• Insert the square end of the skewer into the rotisserie anchor bracket on the left side of the oven.
• Turn the temperature knob to 350°F and the function knob to BROIL (Only the top heating element will be on.)
• Turn the timer control knob past 20 and then turn it to the desired cook time.
• To remove the cooked meat from the oven, turn the temperature control knob to 150°F and the function & timer
knobs to OFF. Open the oven door and place the ends of the rotisserie handle under the indented areas on the
skewer. Carefully lift the left side of the skewer out of the anchor bracket and slowly swing the end out towards the
door until the right side of the skewer comes free from the square hole in the oven. You can also do the above
manually using oven mitts that completely cover your hands.
• Place meat on a clean surface to cool slightly. Using oven mitts, unscrew the wing nuts and remove them from the
skewer. Keep oven mitts on to remove the skewer and slide the meat onto a cutting surface or serving tray before
carving.
