1. Connect either end of the short intermediate tubing to the vacuum port on top of
the collection bottle lid. Then connect the other end to the fluid side of the filter.
2. Connect one end of the long intermediate tubing to the other end of the filter.
Attach the other end to the pressure adjusting inlet.
3. The patient tubing should be connected to collection bottle at the outlet labeled
"patient". Make sure that all connections are secure and without leaks before
operating.
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR SUCTION MACHINE:
1. Before use, check the specification label on the bottom of the suction unit to
ensure that the voltage and current indicated on the unit correspond with the
voltage and current available. Make sure the power switch located on the side
of the unit is in the "Off" position before connecting the unit to a power source.
2. Switch the power switch to "I" position (On). The unit will start running.
WARNING
3. Completely cover the open end of the patient suction tubing, usually with
thumb. Turn the vacuum adjustment knob (clockwise to increase vacuum
pressure, counter-clockwise to reduce) until the pressure indicated by the
gauge equals the maximum pressure recommended by a trained healthcare
professional.
SET UP & OPERATION
NEVER exceed the recommended maximum vacuum pressure.
