INSTALLATION OF CASTERS AND WHEELS
1.
Lay unit down on the end that does not have the push handle.
2. Insert the axle through both of the post inserts. Using a rubber mallet, tap
the post inserts into the posts on the end of the unit that has the handle.
Alternate taps between both inserts until inserts are flush with the posts.
(See Figure 6)
NOTE: If handle is preferred on the end of the cart with the swivel
casters, step 2 should be performed on end with no handle.
3. Slide one spacer and then one washer onto the end of the axle. Insert
spanner bushing into the center of pneumatic wheel. Then slide the wheel
onto end of axle. (See Figure 7)
NOTE: The spacer and spanner bushing fit tightly on the axle. Use a
hammer to tap the spacer and spanner bushing onto the axle. Once
on, both parts should move freely.
4. Slide another washer over axle. Insert cotter pin in hole in axle. Bend cotter
pin with pliers to secure. (See Figure 8)
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for other wheel.
6. Carefully rest unit on end with handle. Using a rubber mallet, tap the
casters into the bottom of the posts until flush. (See Figure 9)
