What is the COMPACT INTERCOM TELEPHONE WITH KEYBOARD AND DISPLAY (TELEPHONE)?
It is a standard digital telephone that, besides being able to communicate with panels and switchboards, can also perform

voice intercommunication with up to 15 other COMPACT INTERCOM devices (TELEPHONE/MONITOR) connected at the same
bus.

"MASTER/SLAVE" Configuration Jumper (J1).
There can only be a MASTER device sharing the same bus. The rest must be SLAVES. If the jumper of J1 is removed or it is in 1-2
o
position, the device will be set as MASTER. If it is in 2-3 position, it will be SLAVE. The facility will not work at all if there isn't
any MASTER device or even if there is more than one device set as MASTER.

TELEPHONE ID for "Panel Calls".
The TELEPHONE always responds to calls made from the panels to the code 1 except if SWITCH-5 is ON. In this case, the
o
TELEPHONE will respond to calls made from panels to code 2.

INTERCOMMUNICATION ID (switches from 1 to 4 of SW1).
It is possible to codify addresses from 1 to 15, using the first 4 switches of the SW2.

Options (switches from 5 to 8 of SW1).
Switch 5. As mentioned above, if it is activated (down), this device will respond to panel calls to code 2.

Switch 6. Only Intercom. If it is activated (down), this will be only an intercom device. It will not be able to communicate with
o
neither panels nor switchboards.
Switch 7. Only Reception. If it is activated (down), this device will not be able to initiate any intercom calls. It will only be able
o
to respond to them.
Switch 8. Priority device. If it is activated (down), this device will end any current conversation, setting the line free to perform
o
any new call.

MULTITONE Configuration (Up to 7 different melodies).
Pressing C with the TELEPHONE hung up; we can select the desired ringtone.

RINGTONES VOLUME Configuration (2 levels).
Pressing B we can select the ringtones volume.

Setting The NUMBER OF RINGTONES and the ELECTRONIC CALL EXTENSION (0 to 4 ringtones)

EVERY TELEPHONE CODIFY WITH ID=0, will always make a "General Call" with just one touch of the (KEY button) + pick the handset up.

CONVERSATION LENGTH: Minimum 90s. From here, the conversation can continue indefinitely, unless a third party wants to use the line,
which will cause both devices will go to its standby mode. This is indicated by a short tone in the speaker during the conversation.

CALLS CANNOT BE RECEIVED if the handset is picked up.

INFO SYSTEM MENU: In case the handset has display, pressing C+OK+1+OK will give us access to the internal settings menu:
X: 12 – The Intercom TELEPHONE address will be the number 12 (from 1 to 15).

M: 1 – TELEPHONE set as MASTER. A 0 will indicate SLAVE.
o
0>> – Press "0" to see more system information.
o
N: 1 – The TELEPHONE has the nº 1 as ID for "Panel Calls". It could also be the nº 2 (switch-5)
o
I: 1 – Only Intercom mode enabled. A 0 will indicate it is disabled (switch-6)
o
R: 1 – Only Reception mode enabled. A 0 will indicate it is disabled (switch-7)
o
P: 1 – Priority mode enabled. A 0 will indicate it is disabled (switch-8)

Handset hung up, blue led ON and keyboard leds OFF.

Make a call:

Pick up the handset (the blue led will start flashing and the display will turn on), enter the TELEPHONE/MONITOR number we
o
want to call and then press OK.(i.e., Call nº3)

Pick up the handset, press nº 3 and then OK. If the TELEPHONE/MONITOR nº3 exists, the green led will start flashing,
the display will show a progress bar and the TELEPHONE/MONITOR will start ringing. Otherwise, the led will turn off
and the display will only show a BELL symbol.

When trying to call to codes greater than 63 or if the line is busy, we will see two red flashes and the system will
return to its standby mode.
General Call. With the handset hung up, keep the KEY button pressed for 2s. The blue and green leds will blink quickly and
o
when lifting the handset up, a call will be made to all the TELEPHONES/MONITORS that have the "General Call" enabled. The
display will show the symbol "*" that will turn into the number of the first TELEPHONE/MONITOR that picks up.

Receive a call:

While the handset is hung up, the TELEPHONE can receive calls. It will start ringing for up to 30s and the blue led will flash

quickly. We may terminate the call pressing the AUTO button, or just lift the handset up to start the conversation. At this point,
the blue led will flash slower and we will have audio at least for 90s (see "CONVERSATION LENGTH" in features).
