Check that the voltage of the battery matches
that of the light.
Use cable of 1.5 mm for both positive and
negative. Connect the negative at the battery
negative post, or a good ground close to the
battery.

Models LR-025 and LR-125 (See figures 5 and
7) include a three-way connector, two female
terminals, and a connector cover. See figure 6
for the proper position of positive and negative
in the three-way connector. Model LR-130
(figure 8) is simply plugged into the cigarette
lighter receptacle of the vehicle. Model LR-135
(figure 9) requires that the red cable be connected
to positive, and the brown cable to negative.

CHANGING THE LAMP
CAUTION: If the light has been functioning for
some time, the lamp could be hot enough to
cause burns. Allow the lamp to cool before
attempting to change it. Touching the glass of
the lamp will deposit skin oils that disminish its
life considerably. Handle the lamp by its metal
base, and if the glass is touched accidentally,
clean it carefully with alcohol.
To get access to the lamp, remove the screw
that secures the lens to the base, then turn the
lens counter clockwise until it comes free.
Remove the clip that holds the lamp in place,
and take the lamp out of the reflector. Disconnect
the faston terminal from the lamp.
Reverse these steps to install the new lamp.
