contact with aggressive substances.
3. INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: Before connecting the tap to the power supply, we suggest purging the
pipes from any residuals. Let the water fl ow freely for an appropriate time.
Countertop tap
Place the tap inside the hole on the countertop (Ø35) with the gaskets, fi x the body
with the supplied kit and connect to the water supply (fi g. 01a-b).
Exposed tap
Fix the tap on a smooth and fl at surface, possibly waterproof, and connect it to the
pipes (fi g. 02). Where it is necessary, fi x the tap on the wall with raw plugs and stain-
less steel screws.
Concealed tap
The arrow on the body of the tap indicates the water fl ow direction and it has to be
orientated towards the water outlet. Otherwise, the self-closing cartridge will not
work. Connect the tap to the pipes. Properly protect the tap during brickwork opera-
tions. In order to allow future maintenance, leave some free space around the tap
(compatibly to the size of the cover plate). Finally place the cover plate and eventual
other complements. (Fig. 03).
Crosswall tap
Drill a ø38 (40 max) mm hole through the panel. Install the chrome plated fi tting and
secure it by hand tightening the lock nut. While installing the tap, check the orienta-
tion of its connections. If the orientation is not satisfactory, loosen the counter nut
and reposition it as needed. When the desired position is reached, fi nally tighten the
lock nut and connect the pipes to the tap.
4. BLOCKING THE MIXTURE (if present)
In order to avoid burns or to prevent energy waste, in case of hot water usage with
rather high temperatures, it is possible to limit the temperature of the water as fol-
lows (fi g. 04):
Turn the mixing lever (1) until reaching the maximum temperature.
•
Once the desired temperature has been reached, remove the lever (1) and the locking
•
ring nut and reassemble it, taking care not to move the position reached and making
sure to position the ring fully oriented towards the new setting.
If you want to prevent the user from changing the mixing, install the covering cap (2)
•
instead of the lever (1).
ATTENTION: this limitation mechanically blocks the mixing of hot and cold water, but
does not regulate the supply temperature: therefore, it does not provide any protec-
tion to the user in case of a lack of cold water.
