Initial Operation
Fill in Water
NOTE:
•
The maximum filling capacity is 600 ml. Use the measur-
ing cup provided.
•
Recommendation: Use distilled water to prevent calcifica-
tion.
CAUTION:
Do not use battery water, water from tumble dryers or water
with additives such as cleaning agents, alcohol, fabric
softener or other chemicals. They could cause hazards or
damage to the appliance.
WARNING: Risk of injury!
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
2. Only open the appliance after the pressure has been
released. Press the steam button to do so.
3. If the appliance is still warm, wait approx. 5 minutes until
removing the lid.
4. Unscrew the lid anticlockwise to remove it.
NOTE:
For your safety, the lock features a trip-free mechanism.
If the pressure in the boiler is still too high, the lock can-
not be opened.
5. Pour any remaining water from the boiler in order to avoid
overfilling.
6. Use the funnel to fill the boiler with a maximum of 600 ml of
water.
7. Attach the lid again by turning it clockwise.
Installation of accessories
•
You have the option of attaching the individual nozzles
directly onto the handle. Insert the accessory onto the
handle until the button (7) clicks into place. To release the
accessory, press the button (7) on the handle.
•
The extension pipes enable you to work in large or high ar-
eas. Insert them into each other until the button on the pipe
clicks into place. Attach the pipe to the handle as described
above. To separate the pipes, press the button on the pipe
again.
•
Attach the adapter (11) to the floor
brush. Insert the adapter into the
floor brush (see fig. A). Then turn
the adapter upwards by 180°.
•
In order to clean sensitive floor
surfaces, use the fleece cloth. To
do so, center the floor brush on
the fleece cloth. Press the levers (12a) and clamp the
edges of the fleece cloth under the levers.
•
Use the round brush for cleaning gaps, instruments, or
spaces that are hard to reach. Attach the round brush to
